Product Quality
We treat your shipment with the greatest care. We specially package and ship your package so that it will arrive in perfect condition. Please review the shipping terms and policies below.
Shipping
We us UPS ground & FedEx 2-Day shipping for most addresses, for P.O boxes we ship with USPS priority mail. We are not responsible for damages, losses or delays caused by shipping carriers or customer negligence.
Summer is the most expensive time to ship chocolates. In the summer months we take special care and ship all packages with insulated totes and gel ice packs to ensure the chocolate arrives in perfect condition. However, in weather exceeding 80º we may contact you to recommend other shipping arrangements if necessary.
Please ensure the recipient is aware that a package will be arriving, as we can not be responsible for packages left unattended in warm weather. Chocolate Therapy is not responsible for the product after it has been handed over to the shipping carriers.
Order processing
To ensure that your product arrives in the best condition we only process shipments Monday through Thursday and avoid weekend travel times and deliveries. We cannot guarantee Monday deliveries on any order.
Shipping in Summer Months and to Warm Weather Destinations Despite our best efforts, we are not responsible for any heat damage that might occur for the 2-day air or ground shipments.
Incorrect Address Fee
Please review all addresses carefully before placing your order. We will charge an additional $10 for incorrectly addressed packages that have to be re-shipped.
Holiday Shipping
Delays with many shipping carriers can occur during holiday seasons. Please take this into consideration and plan ahead to ensure your shipments arrive on time. During holidays like Christmas and Valentine’s Day, USPS, FedEx and UPS may extend their shipping times and we cannot guarantee their on-time performance. We are also subject to Force Majeure and issues that the shipping companies may face. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you.
