By purchasing the product in Chocolate Therapy’s online store, you agree to the terms below.
Product Quality
We treat your shipment with the greatest care. We specially package and ship your package so that it will arrive in perfect condition. Please review the shipping terms and policies below.
Shipping
We assure your chocolate order leaves our facility in perfect condition and damage free. Should you received a damaged product please take a picture of the product, box and label and email it to chocolatetherapy2011@gmail.com within 48 hours of delivery.
Once we have given your package to the shipping carrier, we cannot assume responsibility for the following below:
-Delays caused by the shipping company -Damage or theft of package after the package has been delivered to the specified address -Returned or delayed packages due to an incorrect or undeliverable shipping address -Packages left unattended outside
Warm Weather shipping is the most expensive time to ship chocolates. In the summer months we take special care and ship all packages with insulated totes and gel ice packs to ensure the chocolate arrives in perfect condition. However when temperatures exceed 72º at point of departure, in transit or destination, there is a risk. As of January 2025 there will be a $2 surcharge for frozen gel packs and insulation to protect chocolate as best as possible.
Please ensure the recipient is aware that a package will be arriving, as we can not be responsible for packages left unattended in warm weather. Chocolate Therapy is not responsible for the product after it has been handed over to the shipping carriers. We ship Monday thru Thursday, unless specifically asked to do otherwise.
Order processing
To ensure that your product arrives in the best condition we only process shipments Monday through Thursday and avoid weekend travel times and deliveries. We cannot guarantee Monday deliveries on any order.
Shipping in Summer Months and to Warm Weather Destinations Despite our best efforts, we are not responsible for any heat damage that might occur for the 2-day air or ground shipments.
Incorrect Address Fee
Please review all addresses carefully before placing your order. We will charge an additional $10 for incorrectly addressed packages that have to be re-shipped.
Holiday Shipping
Delays with many shipping carriers can occur during holiday seasons. Please take this into consideration and plan ahead to ensure your shipments arrive on time. During holidays like Christmas and Valentine’s Day, USPS, FedEx and UPS may extend their shipping times and we cannot guarantee their on-time performance.
